TOWN PARK
Our large park is adjacent to the Town Hall and has two first class playgrounds. There is one for ages toddlers to six and one for 7-12 year olds. There are six baseball and softball fields and tennis and  volleyball courts.  If you are planning a family gathering, church social or any sort of get together, why not check out our facilities.  Air conditioning has been completed in the G.G. Hardin Center (10,000 square feet).  Rent is $35.00 and hour with a minimum of three hours.  A basketball league for ages 5-14 begins in January 2005.  A refundable $100.00 deposit is required at time of rental.

Don't need this?  The pavilions and picnic tables complete with grills are available free of charge on a first come first serve basis.  All we ask is that you take care of them and clean up before you leave.

We also have lighted tennis and volleyball courts.  With playgrounds for the children, a walking-biking (non-motorized) trail or park benches for just sitting, there is something for everyone at our Town Park.

BROOKWOOD - A WONDERFUL PLACE TO LIVE

While the excitement of urban life is close by, the peace and tranquility of rural life is found right outside your door. The call of the bob-white, the questioning of "who...who" by the owl, the plaintiff calls of the whip-poor-will, or the raucous chatter of the mocking bird floats across the hills and meadows of Brookwood.  Deer are seen feeding across the street from the Town Hall and eagles are spotted soaring over the Black Warrior River. The pace may seem slow, but don’t be deceived. You will be pleasantly surprised when you discover the vitality and vision of the people in this quiet little village, Brookwood, Alabama.
